Current Adoptable Kittens/Cats

Three Kitten Siblings

Ginger (Male Orange), Basil (Male Cream) and Poppy (Female Tabby) are 12 wks old as of 10/4/20. They will be getting vetted on Oct. 15 and will then be available for adoption. All kittens were fostered with a large dog and a 4 year old so they are very socialized and enjoy just about everything and everyone!

Adoption fee is $75 each and they are FelV negative, altered, received their FVRCP vaccination and flea treated and wormed. Email us for an adoption application; or stop in the shop.

Thank you for visiting our adoption program page. Please note that adoptions may take a week or so to be finalized. Our volunteer fosters, are just like you, and have busy lives. We do our very best to get these kitties great homes as quickly as life allows, thank you in advance for understanding.

We are in need of a foster or two. If you are interested in fostering please email us at

These four older kittens have had some bad luck preventing them from being adopted. Early on they were thought to have some gum disease which no adopter wanted to tackle. However, now that diagnosis has been reversed.

All four look just alike and they tend to hang out in these pairs. We would love for them to be adopted in pairs but will separate them because they really just need loving homes. Two is better than one anyway though right?

While in the kitten cage at Friendly Paws, they are usually asking for attention and want to be pet. They purr a lot and rub against you for more. They have always been the sweetest little things. They are kittens, so obviously they love to play!

Due to having been medicated a lot they can be a little leery of people in the home until they realize you are not going to shove a pill down their throats or put drops in their eyes. Our guess is that a quieter home (no small children, older calm kids ok) might be best given that they just haven’t been around a lot of craziness. We are looking for someone/s or families who are willing to be a little patient for them to come out of their shell once they are in a home.

A community couple has spent a fortune on these cats so they wouldn’t be euthanized and they have way too many of their own. Help us find these four wonderful indoor homes!

Email for an adoption application. Adoption fee is $25/each and will go to the couple fostering.

ADOPTED! Gandalf the Grey is 6-8 months old and showed up at a house trying to get inside. After asking the neighbors they found that he was born to a momma cat a neighbor has been feeding but this kitten is not “theirs”.  Steps are being made so that Momma cat is fixed and we were lucky enough to have our one foster available to take this guy in. We are told there are no more kittens.

Gandalf was suffering from a severe respiratory infection and matted and just overall in very poor shape. He has been to the vet and his infection has cleared up. He has also had a bath and been groomed.

As sick as he was this guy is as sweet as they come. Purrs constantly and loves human attention. He is going to make someone a wonderful companion. Gandalf will be available for adoption 2/14. His adoption fee is $60 which helps to offset the cost of neuter, FeLV test, rabies and FVRCP vaccinations, wormer, flea meds and the extra meds needed for this poor guy at his rescue. You may get pre-approved for adoption by filling out an application at the shop or emailing us at

Miss Scarlett (ADOPTED!), the green eyed beauty, is a one year old momma whose kittens have already been adopted. She is looking for a home where she can be loved, played with and cuddled. She has an easygoing personality and loves attention. This kitty can be held like a baby and loves belly rubs. This momma was found outside of an apartment building, abandoned with her kittens – she deserves a wonderful home.

Miss Scarlett is FeLV negative and will be spayed/vaccinated in December. Her adoption fee is $45.  She may be visited at times at the shop, please call to see when she will be in next.
